The City of Lincoln with its majestic Cathedral and new University, also boasts many art galleries and quaint bookshops in the delightful old part of the city - Steep Hill.

If you would like to be   pampered, visit nearby Eden Hall Spa or pick up a bargain at one of the colourful market stalls in Newark town centre. If you are feeling rather more energetic, then golf, sailing, tennis, go-karting and horse riding are all available locally.

The area is a paradise for antique collectors with the famous International Antiques Fairs held six times a year in both the nearby Newark Showground and the Lincoln Showground.

Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park, Rufford Park and Robin Hoods Major Oak with lovely walks and cycling tracks, Southwell with its lovely Minster and quaint shopping and numerous National Trust properties are all within easy driving distance.
